Hello...! It's been a while since my last entry. Well, Chinese New Year is just around the corner. The town had been busy, people shop for goods, and clothes of course! I've bought 2 new shirts for work and a trendy jeans. I still need to buy some t-shirts this Saturday (tomorrow) hopefully or maybe next week. I have the time for shopping but money matters now. Next week money will be in the bank (end of month already, hehee..!). This CNY will be very budget.
I will drive to hometown with some friends on 5th February, Tuesday morning and there will be a gathering on the big night out the same day. So catch me in Ipoh from 5th - 10th Feb.
Just downloaded a CNY album by MY Astro. I'm not really into the festive songs anyway.

New Furniture
Hi guys! It's been busy over the week and I just have this little time to drop a line here. Well, first news from me is my room is now fully completed. As I already mentioned earlier, I painted my room with Tropicana green and furnished with a new bed. And now it comes 2 side tables on both sides of my bed. And there's a stand lamp at the corner. I bought them from IKEA. I really love my room now, very comfortable and relaxing. The feel is totally different after the big renovation. But I put all the cost on my room and resulting I couldn't be able to buy new clothes for Chinese New Year at the moment until I get my next salary. Today is already 15 Jan, time goes by really fast.
Secondly, I've planned to back to my hometown to celebrate CNY on the 5th of February (CNY on 7&8 Feb). I will take 2 days leave so that I could go back earlier but I think the highway will be very jam. I'll resume work on 11 Feb (Monday).
Entertainment: Just downloaded and watched Wars of In-Laws 2 episode 1-6. The drama is really, really funny and I can't get enough watching it over and over again. I'm now downloading episode 7-9. Gary Chaw's new album was great. I loved the songs. Janice new song had put to the wave and it sounds great too. Hoping the new album out soon.

Happy New Year 2008
Happy New Year everyone!!! It's been an amazing night on the New Year's Eve. There were countdown events everywhere in KL, e.g. Sg. Wang, Pavillion, KLCC, The Curve, etc. And even the clubs held countdown parties. Of course I'm in the club with my best friends. This year's NYE was the most exciting one because we are totally different. We wore weird but fashionable clothes for the first time in our lives. And in the club, I think we're the most spectacular ones.
On the New Year day, I just stay at home relax after the hectic and tiring night. And at night, I had my dinner at Mid Valley and caught cold. My nose were running and I just can't sleep through the night. Then I MC the next day. Went to the panel clinic and get some medicine and then back home sleep again cos the medicine have drowsiness effect.
So it comes to today, the 3rd of January where I'm in the office writing this post. Still not recovered from the cold yet.

New Year Countdown!
Today is Sunday and I just woke up around 2pm and the day is just boring. New Year is just 2 days from today and tomorrow is already 31st so countdown for New Year's Eve will be on tomorrow's night. I'll be attending a big party and that is just fantastic. I love party and I've chosen my attire for that big night out. I'll wear a green t-shirt with a cute teddy bear print on it and a white short pants with black spots on it. The dress code for the party was TOY so I should wear those cute clothes.
More reports on the party will follow soon.

Exhausted
It's been crazy over the week. First legend would be the Christmas Eve night out. I, as usual, went clubbing with some friends and it was amazing. The atmosphere was heat and everyone gone crazy in the club. The music was great and the environment was really packed. When the DJ plays 'Spice Up Your Life' and what more? I just got up to the little podium and did a little pole dance and some Spice routine. It was really, really great. Hundreds of people around me and I just do it without a doubt.
Next I wanted to share was about my home. I just did a little home improvement which I painted my room in Tropicana Green. It was really tiring to paint a room (after work). In which I finished work at 5.30pm, took LRT home, bought the paint and reached home around 6.30pm. Then I started move all my stuffs out to the living room to empty my room before start painting. I took about 3 hours to done the painting and moving stuffs. And I had to clean the room, sweep and mop and done everything by 11pm. My friend then arrived at 11.15pm to pick me up. We were heading to the club again. This time was kinda boring because the music was not so good, they played almost all were old songs which I really annoyed. Then I left the club around 2am, went to pick up my friend who just reached KL from Penang at Puduraya and we have a drink at Steven's. After that we loitered at the park till 4am and then went home to sleep.
And now, I'm at my office around 10am. Today was Saturday and I'm here just to help arrange and update the library. Later I'll go to have a hair cut. I'm totally exhausted and really need some good rest. Bye now!

Another Mission Accomplished
Hello you lots...! I've been having a fantastic weekend doing a little cooking at my friend's house. It was Sunday (just yesterday), I woke up earlier than usual, around 9am, I got myself done and go to the market at Pudu. I bought the fresh meat and hot ginger. Then later I bought breakfast on the way home.
Around 3pm, me and Nigel started our journey to Damansara. It's quite far but for this mission, we are keen to go there. And then we reached our friend, Frivo's house and quickly we put all the things into the fridge. Then we went to Tesco and shop for the rest bits of ingredients, like black beans, vinegar, cabbage and others. Then we went home and started our cooking mission.
The day was hot but not as hot as the pot of pork leg braised in ginger vinegar. It took more than an hour to cook the hot pot because the meat should be braised soft. At the same time, I cooked the cabbage with dried shrimps and oyster sauce. It was all perfect and had that very homemy feel.
We just can't stop enjoying the ginger vinegar braise pork leg because it was too delicious. I can't believe I'm cooking this and its delicious. It's sour, hot and sweet. Actually I used to cook it once but that was last year. And this time, I done it great, just a little dry because the pot is not big enough. Mission accomplished!
Right after the meal, we had a cocktail drink. We mix a little Vodka in the cocktail and a slice of lemon. It was just perfect. The meal and the cocktail made my day. I have a video and some pics to be upload soon. Check back later.

Mission Accomplished
Hi guys! Here's a little quick review of The Greatest Spice Night. On the night, Wednesday 19 December, around 9.30pm, I've reached the venue (Orange Dance Club) and waited outside the club for 15 minutes. Then my friends came and we have a drink at a mamak stall next to the club. And I was surprised to meet 2 Dendeners, Dylan and CK (both were huge Spice Girls fans) and we chatted and being together the whole night. When the entrance opened, I pay the cover charge and get the Spice Girls t-shirt. Not really satisfied with the colour and design, but I still love it. Then I entered the club and the song '2 Become 1' club mixed was played. I really enjoyed Spice Girls songs played in club mixes. The venue was still empty, I didn't expect the reception of this party was that poor. Only VIPs were at the venue. VIP included EMI executives and press media. Then slowly the people came in but not making the venue full. I'm quite disappointed.
The party starts abit late. The MC came out on stage and gave a little speech about the Greatest Spice Night (album launch party) and then she introduced performances by the drag queens. The drag queens danced and mimed for 'Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)' and 'Stop'. Right after that, a dance/mime competition starts with 2 groups of contestants (drag queens too). This was weird but quite fun.
After all the show was done, it's time for the clubbers. DJ Princess Ann spins the Spice Girls songs and me and my friends was just crazy. We loved the mix for 'Stop' and we really did the Spice Girls routine for this song. Everyone was mesmerized and can't stop looking at us. I wasn't aware of this until my friend told me. If we enters the competition earlier, we could win.. haha... Days before the party, we had planned to do the Spice Girls routine for 'Stop' and rehearsed for it a bit and finally we made it. Mission accomplished! That's the climax of the night (for me). The other mixes played through the night was 'Spice Up Your Life', 'Say You'll Be There' and nevertheless 'Wannabe'. But I was aiming for 'Who Do You Think You Are' cos we did practise the routine a little bit.
Overall, I think the party was not successful. The reasons I can figure out was:
1. It was weekday (Wednesday) and people are not keen to go clubbing.
2. Not much exposure and publicity (It's only on EMI, FunTasty & Axcest website). How about those who don't surf internet?
3. The venue is not very well-known and they don't even put a banner outside the club. I'm lucky that I'd been there once so that I know the location.

Tonight's The Night
Awww...! Tonight's the night of the Greatest Spice party... I just can't wait for the sun to set and the night comes. I don't know what they've planned for the event but as long as it is about the Spice Girls, I'll love it. I've been rehearsing the choreography and ready to throw it to the dance floor tonight. Even though I'm not a good dancer, I will enjoy myself doing my own thing. That's the nature of Spice "Do our own thing!"... Haha... I'm sooooo excited right now. Tomorrow is a public holiday and I'm going to sleep like hell since tonight will be home late. And I'm finger crossed for the free limited Spice Girls t-shirt. I'm going to the venue early tonight (I hope not many people queuing and the t-shirt still available for me)...
Music Update:
1. Britney Spears' new music video "Piece Of Me" was premiered. Nothing much to say but just "HOT!". This is the Britney that her fans or the people in the world would like to see. She's back!
2. Dato' Siti Nurhaliza new album "Hadiah Daripada Hati" was released on 10 December. I just get the album and reviews will soon follow.
