Hello you lots...! I've been having a fantastic weekend doing a little cooking at my friend's house. It was Sunday (just yesterday), I woke up earlier than usual, around 9am, I got myself done and go to the market at Pudu. I bought the fresh meat and hot ginger. Then later I bought breakfast on the way home.
Around 3pm, me and Nigel started our journey to Damansara. It's quite far but for this mission, we are keen to go there. And then we reached our friend, Frivo's house and quickly we put all the things into the fridge. Then we went to Tesco and shop for the rest bits of ingredients, like black beans, vinegar, cabbage and others. Then we went home and started our cooking mission.
The day was hot but not as hot as the pot of pork leg braised in ginger vinegar. It took more than an hour to cook the hot pot because the meat should be braised soft. At the same time, I cooked the cabbage with dried shrimps and oyster sauce. It was all perfect and had that very homemy feel.
We just can't stop enjoying the ginger vinegar braise pork leg because it was too delicious. I can't believe I'm cooking this and its delicious. It's sour, hot and sweet. Actually I used to cook it once but that was last year. And this time, I done it great, just a little dry because the pot is not big enough. Mission accomplished!
Right after the meal, we had a cocktail drink. We mix a little Vodka in the cocktail and a slice of lemon. It was just perfect. The meal and the cocktail made my day. I have a video and some pics to be upload soon. Check back later.

Mission Accomplished
Hi guys! Here's a little quick review of The Greatest Spice Night. On the night, Wednesday 19 December, around 9.30pm, I've reached the venue (Orange Dance Club) and waited outside the club for 15 minutes. Then my friends came and we have a drink at a mamak stall next to the club. And I was surprised to meet 2 Dendeners, Dylan and CK (both were huge Spice Girls fans) and we chatted and being together the whole night. When the entrance opened, I pay the cover charge and get the Spice Girls t-shirt. Not really satisfied with the colour and design, but I still love it. Then I entered the club and the song '2 Become 1' club mixed was played. I really enjoyed Spice Girls songs played in club mixes. The venue was still empty, I didn't expect the reception of this party was that poor. Only VIPs were at the venue. VIP included EMI executives and press media. Then slowly the people came in but not making the venue full. I'm quite disappointed.
The party starts abit late. The MC came out on stage and gave a little speech about the Greatest Spice Night (album launch party) and then she introduced performances by the drag queens. The drag queens danced and mimed for 'Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)' and 'Stop'. Right after that, a dance/mime competition starts with 2 groups of contestants (drag queens too). This was weird but quite fun.
After all the show was done, it's time for the clubbers. DJ Princess Ann spins the Spice Girls songs and me and my friends was just crazy. We loved the mix for 'Stop' and we really did the Spice Girls routine for this song. Everyone was mesmerized and can't stop looking at us. I wasn't aware of this until my friend told me. If we enters the competition earlier, we could win.. haha... Days before the party, we had planned to do the Spice Girls routine for 'Stop' and rehearsed for it a bit and finally we made it. Mission accomplished! That's the climax of the night (for me). The other mixes played through the night was 'Spice Up Your Life', 'Say You'll Be There' and nevertheless 'Wannabe'. But I was aiming for 'Who Do You Think You Are' cos we did practise the routine a little bit.
Overall, I think the party was not successful. The reasons I can figure out was:
1. It was weekday (Wednesday) and people are not keen to go clubbing.
2. Not much exposure and publicity (It's only on EMI, FunTasty & Axcest website). How about those who don't surf internet?
3. The venue is not very well-known and they don't even put a banner outside the club. I'm lucky that I'd been there once so that I know the location.

Tonight's The Night
Awww...! Tonight's the night of the Greatest Spice party... I just can't wait for the sun to set and the night comes. I don't know what they've planned for the event but as long as it is about the Spice Girls, I'll love it. I've been rehearsing the choreography and ready to throw it to the dance floor tonight. Even though I'm not a good dancer, I will enjoy myself doing my own thing. That's the nature of Spice "Do our own thing!"... Haha... I'm sooooo excited right now. Tomorrow is a public holiday and I'm going to sleep like hell since tonight will be home late. And I'm finger crossed for the free limited Spice Girls t-shirt. I'm going to the venue early tonight (I hope not many people queuing and the t-shirt still available for me)...
Music Update:
1. Britney Spears' new music video "Piece Of Me" was premiered. Nothing much to say but just "HOT!". This is the Britney that her fans or the people in the world would like to see. She's back!
2. Dato' Siti Nurhaliza new album "Hadiah Daripada Hati" was released on 10 December. I just get the album and reviews will soon follow.

The Greatest Spice Night
There will be an event so-called The Greatest Spice Night organized by FunTasty and EMI. The event will be held on 19 December 2007, Wednesday 10pm onwards at Orange Club with DJ Princess Ann. First 100 guests will be given a free limited edition Spice Girls t-shirt. I just can't wait for the time to come and hopefully get the t-shirt. The night will be amazing with all the Spice Girls songs to dance along. It could be the best party so far.
X'mas celebration still haven't been planned yet but I can now reveal the New Year celebration details. I've set the location to party but I won't announce here due to some difficulties. I just give some clues, ok. It was a 4 night events/parties held in 4 different places. The main party is on the fourth day, which is the New Year's Eve. I will be going to only 2 parties. And that would be fun enough and tiring.

Month of Celebration
Hi guys! Just logon here to post some recent updates. This week nothing special happens, just that yesterday one of my colleague left the company and we did a farewell party for him at Pizza Hut.
This Sunday I will be attending Tan Sri's daughter's wedding held in Bukit Tunku. The wedding will be very grand and I just can't wait for it. Another wedding to be attended is on 22 December in Rawang where my ex-classmate, Sara weds. Still not sure what to buy for her wedding. Any idea? Please leave a comment on it.
Not enough yet with the farewell party and the weddings. My mum's birthday is coming up too and I'll definitely back to hometown to celebrate with her.
And remember, this month was the last for 2007 and X'mas and New Year is just around the corner. There will be celebrations of course, I've even done a little decorations for X'mas in my house. More details on the celebrations will be announced soon.
Music:
2 new music videos of Miriam Yeung recorded live from All About Love 2007 concert was played on MTV Hong Kong and even available at Neway Karaoke. The videos are Stranger and Finally Have To Admit It. Stranger (Mak Lo) was a beautiful ballad and in the concert, she just stands and walks around the stage and sings. While Finally Have To Admit It (Bat Ying Bat Ying Wan Sui Ying) was a fast-Bollywood-dance track and in the concert, she dances with loads of dancers and the choreography was just amazing (she learn the dance in Japan). And now I'm looking forward for All About Love 2007 Concert DVD (not sure if she release or not) and also All About Love music video. The song is already #1 in Hong Kong radio station.
The Return of the Spice Girls World Tour finally starts. The tour kicks-off in Vancouver, BC on Dec 2. There are numerous pics and videos all over the internet. I just simply love their show and hopefully get to see them when they announce Asia dates next year (Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing). And what I really, really want is the tour DVD. Not sure if they release a DVD but it must be very demanding.

Busy Work
It's been busy throughout the week with the design and submission works. Sometimes I do feel headache thinking too much. My pay is actually not satisfying and not enough to survive in KL. It really makes my life hard now. My parents stop support me in terms of money. No more pocket money from them unless I get back to study. It's not easy. Any ways to make side income?
Oh yes! I have to report on my workout progress. I remain going to the gym and join the classes and sometimes workout on my own, doing anything I want. But the main purpose is to burn fat and lose weight. That's my scope in gym. I'm not into body building. That's all I can say. No comment.
It's time to write my favourite part, the Entertainment News. My favourite couple in Dancing With The Stars, Mel and Maks became the finalist and they were the first runner up. I'm sad though they didn't win. However, it was just a competition and Mel still has a world tour with the Spice Girls which will kick-off this Sunday, December 2.
This week I was downloading some videos and audios. First, it's the Beyonce Experience Live 2007 (DVD). I just love Beyonce perform live. She's a great performer. Second was a TVB drama. I'm downloading episode 1-16 of 20. It's an amazing drama. TVB produces all quality dramas as always and I just love it. And albums on download are Celine Dion 'Taking Chances' and Kylie Minogue 'X'. The divas are back!

Work Out Report (Week 3)
The workout mission has failed. I think I just need more time. But during this period, I really enjoyed myself. I love the gym, the dance and bodywork classes and also the sauna. I really sweat alot each and every 2 hours I spent in the gym. Even though my weight hasn't been any reduction, I do see slightly some improvements on my body. I will still continue what I am doing. My mission will be extended to another three weeks and see how it works.
The Spice Girls Greatest Hits album and single Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) are in stores and also available to buy online now. Buy a copy to support them. Their world tour is near, less than 2 weeks now. The show will kick-off in Vancouver on Dec 2.
And this season's Dancing With The Stars finalists are Mel B, Helio and Marie. Mel B is my all time favorite so I'll definitely vote for her. Any Spice Girls/Mel B fans around the world please vote for Mel next Monday at www.abc.com. Let's make Mel win this big competition.

Work Out Report (Week 2)
This week I missed a few days of workout due to working overtime and public holiday where the gym closes. My weigh still not seeing any reduces so I'm taking a diet plan. It's a very simple diet, take light breakfast (2 piece of white bread and a cup of milo) and high fibre meal for dinner (oat, milk, fruits and vegetables). Lunch I just eat as usual but less oily food. I will try this diet for 1 week and see how it goes, starting next Monday. Besides of wishing for a curvy, shape and nice body, I also wants to be healthy.
The Spice Girls Greatest Hits was released in Malaysia and worldwide with a regular (CD only) and deluxe (CD+DVD) edition. There is a special limited edition, the Box Set, which is more worth to buy cos it has 4 CDs with a bracelet and 5 postcards. The box set is only available in the UK and a few countries. Hence, I ordered my copy of Spice Girls Greatest Hits (Box Set) from Amazon.co.uk last week, 9 November and they dispatched it on 10 November. The delivery was estimated 19 November but it reached here today, my sister called me just now and she told me. I'm so excited now and can't wait to go home and open the parcel.

Work Out Report (Week 1)
The first week has past and I'm worrying about my work out mission. I've just step on the weighing scale yesterday and my weigh has not decrease. After a hardwork over a week and now my whole body was in pain like hell. What's wrong? I did cycling and cardio running to burn fat. I join body work classes. I work out for muscles and go to sauna and steam. After all I did, not even reduce a kg. But I won't give up and will keep on working out. Another 2 weeks to go. I must have see some result by then eventhough it might be not satisfying.
My top 5 music chart of the week:
1. Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) - Spice Girls
2. All About Love - Miriam Yeung
3. Gimme More - Britney Spears
4. When You're Gone - Avril Lavigne
5. First Experience (Forever) - Jason Chan
Album of the week: Blackout - Britney Spears

Work It Out
Work it out! I gotta work it out! Yes, I've finally joined the gym in my company and just started to work out yesterday. I want to be in shape in just a few weeks. Possible? I'm not sure but I'll give it a try. My first mission is to lose 7kg. I've framed 3 weeks time for the mission. Next would be another 5kg weight lose but I'm not sure if I can possibly make it. However, my target is the first 7kg weight lose. Watch out in the next 3 weeks time and see if I could accomplish my mission.
