OMG... it's been a while I hadn't put anything here. I must have forgotten about this blog as too busy with Cafe World and Barn Buddy on Facebook. But it's ok now and I'm back!
Over these few weeks abit boring cos it's the end of the year and everything go slow. My routine is just the same, exclude clubbings and pubs. Been lazy to hang out for almost 2 weeks and gonna freak out soon. So this Saturday may be going for Marcia's Mystical Masquerade Party if nothing special block my way.
My desire for this month is sing K and go on a vacation. Both hasn't been done yet as today already 15th. Still have half month to go. Plan plan plan...!

Australian Tour 2009
It was an amazing tour. I spent 10 days in that country. I went to several places like Brisbane, Surfers Paradise, Byron Bay, Sydney and Scone. I have had a great time over there even though it was tiring sometimes when you have to sit in the car for half a day to travel down south along the highway. I've taken some photos and put in my Facebook. Click here to view.
The next visit to Australia shall be next year. This time Melbourne!!!

Enjoy
The weekend had just passed. I enjoyed clubbing at Marketplace on Saturday night. Sunday went for K-Lunch at Neway BTS. I always love singing and it's nice to enjoy with friends. Sang many new songs that I'm long-awaited and it was great. Really, really had a great time.
The tour date is getting near and I was very excited now. My last tour was Beijing in 2008. Every time on tour is having a lot of fun and excitement. Many unexpected things happen and know different people in different places. It is just too cool.
I just finished pack my things. Now left the toiletries to fit in the luggage. Oops... I still haven't change some Aussie dollar. There's still a lot to do.

Genting Holiday Fever
It was cold and windy at Genting Highlands on the 13th of September. Some sweet memories to remember that night. It was Alvin's birthday on 14th, so we bought him a cake and celebrated with him. Attendees including Jojo and Raymond. It is the first time we celebrate a birthday at a garden beside First World Hotel. It was outdoor, around 1am, weather was cold and very windy. We sang him a birthday song, he made a wish and blew the candles. And we took loads of photos. Then we hanged out and chatted for a while before heading back to our room and rest. Photos can be view at my Facebook.
So what we do before the night? Erm... check-in to the hotel, walk around First World and ... gamble in the casino! This time lost some money but I'll get them back next time!!! Wait for me...!
Next week Tuesday will be at Genting again and stay until Thursday. This time gonna relax and not gamble too much. More updates after next week.

September Happenings
Sorry but it's always took me ages to post a blog. I've been busy and lazy all these days and honest to say, I just stick to FB and hence, less logon to other websites. There's alot to share with you guys and I could simply update on my FB headline to shout out. That is why I post a blog not as frequent.
So this post, as always, I want to highlight some going-ons and happenings. First of all, here comes Nigel's birthday on 10/9/2009 and I've had celebrated with him just now at Sake Sushi.
Second, I've booked a trip to Genting, just for relax and refresh myself from 13-14/9/2009. After that, another trip on from 22-24/9/2009 which falls on the Raya week. Actually all this Genting trip is a Buy 2 Free 1 promotion. I just paid RM77.60 for both dates. Cheap huh?? Haha... that's the 888 Deal offered by Genting.
Okay, third, I will be attending Majlis Buka Puasa at Sheraton Hotel on 15/9/2009. It is organised by my company. Buffet at hotel, best best!!!
Fourth, Alvin Koo and Fai Fai birthday coming soon, 14 & 15/9/2009. Not sure how they celebrate and still pending invitation. LOL! Or shall I make their celebration happen? Well, I just leave to them to come out with the final decision.
Okay, that's all I can think of right now. Will write more if I remember on the next post. See ya!!!

Made Up My Mind
Yes, I have made up my mind. Thanks to the Puer tea that made me stays awake all night long. I have go through my current dilemmas and here are my decisions:
1. Home - after considering every aspect, I think better to stay rather than moving to a new place. This matter has been brought to the housemates committee meeting and final decision is to STAY. No more moving plan until further proposal.
2. Love - let it be, I've found someone in my dream, but not in reality... I hope my dream will come true. But hope is hope, never gonna happen. So I will wait for the real person to approach.
3. Family & Work - I don't want to change at the moment. I need more time to plan my future. I know it's boring and I'm started to freak out. But... I'm not ready for changes. Leave me alone.

Back On Track
Today is the 23rd of August. Next weekend will be the end of August 2009, can't wait for September to come cos I have booked 2 trips to Genting... hoohoo!!!
Continue from my last post, the confusion still on and on but I gotta stop it right now and get my life back on track. Too many things in my mind that someday will gonna explode. And I think I have to throw that bomb away from me. Decisions have to be made and I'm gonna stand firm and not holding back.
Things to be settled:
1. Home - to move or not to move
2. Love - find a new person, forget the pass
3. Family - to accept or reject my sis offer to work in Australia
4. Work - continue like this or find new job
P/S: I'm gonna be alright. No worries. :)

July Ends
Today is the end of July and it's Friday. As usual, there's meeting, reports and letters to do. After work got home straight and asked Jojo to buy me a quick dinner. Then sat at home boring like hell online, facebook, chatting and blogging. Should rest early today cos tomorrow morning will join Yoga and Pilates class.
Throughout this week, I felt kinda confuse. Thinking too much of a kind. What's going on now? Gossips in and out, right and left, everywhere. Can't they just shut their mouth and leave me alone...?

Sick
The weather's changing. Today is hot like hell. Tomorrow is cloudy and rainy. Dry and wet. It is killing me and I've got fever, cough and flu. I am SICK!!! But I am recovering, still can go to work at least. I missed the BodyCombat and Zumba Fitness class on Monday due to illness. These few days didn't go to the gym. Hopefully tomorrow will resume to gym as normal and join Zumba Fitness class. Yoga and Pilates on Saturday is a must. Healing!!!

Fitness
Just joined the Zumba Fitness class last Thursday night with Joshua. First time ever in my almost 1 year membership with California Fitness. I never ever join a class before as I usually went to the gym alone. I always wanted someone to accompany. It was great and I sweat a lot. After this I think I will join those fitness classes every week. Having so much fun!
And yesterday (Sunday) I went to the gym again to attend Zumba Fitness and Pop Dance class... So exciting...

Fish Leong Live in Malaysia 2009
Can’t believe I went for Fish Leong concert at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil on the 13th of June. It was all of a sudden when Jozef called me a day before the concert and asked me if I could go with him. Of course I do since it was Saturday and I was free the whole day and night. The show was great and the crowd was of all ages and it was full house that night. I was a little boring because I’m not really familiar to her songs. Some of the songs I heard before and my favorite was ‘Yong Qi’. She also sang some Cantonese songs which was weird but nice because all her songs were in Mandarin. Then the special guest came. He is Michael Wong (Guang Liang). I love some of his songs and I loved the moment he sang ‘Tong Hua’.

Alot of Fun
Been busy throughout the week. Alot of night outs and alot of fun. Drank alot but I never got seriously drunk.
First off, congratulations to Mavis who just newly-wed. I attended both wedding dinner of hers and it was an amazing experience. Once again my fashion became the spotlight of the night but sorry that I wore black. People don't 'pantang' so much nowadays. It's ok to wear black. Photos available in Facebook.
Next, I wish "Happy Birthday" to Win (El Gee staff). I was so pleasant to attend your b'day party. It was fab and very successful. Your friends were very supportive. Thanks for inviting and giving me a great night. Some photos have been up on my Facebook.
It was so tiring and lack of sleep. This weekend will be a pig at home, sleep, sleep, sleep!!!

Happy Birthday Melvin!!!
Happy Birthday Melvin~!!! Thank you everyone who wrote on my FB wall, sms me and call me for the great birthday wish. I appreciate you guys very much. I didn't login to drop by a post for 2 weeks. Been busy working, gym, facebooking and twittering.
My friends celebrated my birthday with me at Palace three days earlier which was on Saturday night. The earliest birthday celebration in my life. But still it was great and happy. I blew the candles at midnight but I didn't really make a wish as I'm still blur and got a little drunk that night. Check out the photos in my Facebook!
The next morning (Sunday) I woke up early and went to the market to buy stuffs for a steamboat dinner at night. Then went home to place those stuffs in the fridge before headed to Puduraya to fetch Jojo who came all the way from Ipoh to celebrate my birthday (as if!). Next, we went shopping around Bukit Bintang, from Sungei Wang to Pavilion. After that went home and prepare the steamboat dinner. It was all fun and very full.
The next day (Monday), I went to work as usual. After work I went to Miharja for a hair-cut. I love my hair and I'm totally fresh now!!
As for today, the main day of my birthday, I will be going for dinner with my mom. We have Korean food. Check out the photos on my Facebook.

May Events
May is a happening month for me. First there's Sleaze Ball V 2009 at the beginning of the month. Then some problem with a friend and I don't really know how to settle it (I don't really know what he's thinking). Well, I just don't want to bother anything happen in the world now. I just live my life and that's OK. During this few weeks, I'd drink alot, always get drunk (not really drunk tho!). It's not easy to make me drunk. This Friday will be a birthday bash for my friend, Joshua, at Greenbox Sg Wang. Pre-wish him Happy Birthday!!! Everytime sing K also sing like a mad people, I can sing for hours in the k-box as if I'm doing my concert. LOL.

Sleaze Ball V 2009
The fifth year Princeworld KL organised Sleaze Ball. Day 1 was held in Orange, Day 2 in Oblique and Day 3 in Maison. I only attended Day 1 and 2. The club was pack and crowded and the music was loud.
Day 1 in Orange was unforgettable. I admire the green lights shooting everywhere in the club. The atmosphere was great. And there's a performance which was brilliant. I like the 'Pokerface - Lady Gaga' sequence where the dancers were hot and very well choreographed. The performer was great in dancing and miming and she looked like real Lady Gaga.
Day 2 was unexpected and didn't plan to go, but I was there! I love the music here thanks to DJ Princess Ann and DJ Ano. I danced really crazy that my hair and T-shirt get wet, but I still dun dare to take off my shirt. I just want more parties like this!
P/S: Some photos available in my Facebook. Thanks.

Working Saturday
Today was like a working day for me. I woke up and had a brunch with a friend at the mamak beside the swimming pool of my condo. Then I went home and did a bunch of housework. I washed my bedsheets, hanged them in the sun and replace the clean bedsheets on my bed. I washed all my dirty clothes and hanged them up in the yard. I cleaned the ceiling fan of my room and the living room. I cleaned the kitchen's basin. I wiped my room's furniture and accidentally broke my mirror and then the additional sweeping work came. I swept all over my room. Oops...! I forgot to mop the floor. Maybe I just got too tired and soon after finished all the works, I took a shower and lied on the bed to rest.
Can't believe I had the initiative to do housework today.

My Name "俊杰"
Translingual for Han Character (taken from wiktionary.org)
俊 : 1. talented, capable 2. handsome
杰 : 1. hero 2. heroic, outstanding
So I think the combination of my name would give the meaning:
俊杰 : Talented, capable, handsome and outstanding Hero
黃俊杰 : Talented, capable, handsome and outstanding Hero of the Ng family
Until today only I found out the meaning of my Chinese name.

My Surname "黃"
黃 : Wong
Wong is the transliteration of the Chinese family name (黃) which means yellow literally. Wong is the eighth most common Chinese surname, with a worldwide population of more than 41 million (2000 estimate).
It is transliterated to Huang, Wing, Vong, Bong, Ng, Wee, Oi, Oei or Ooi, Ong or Hwang due to dialect-language variations.
Dialect Variants
Wong — Cantonese/Yue, Fuzhou, Hakka/Kejia, Gan
Huang, Hwang — Mandarin
Bong — Hakka/Kejia
Huynh/Hoang — Vietnamese
Hwang — Korean
Ng — Hokkien/Min, Teochiew/Chaoshan
Oei, Ooi, Oi, Wee — Hokkien/Min
Ong — erroneous transliteration of "Ng"
The Wong Surname — Introduction
Wong is surname #96 in "Hundreds Family Surnames" (百家姓). Wong ranks 8th among Chinese surname clans and has a worldwide population of more than 31 million (2000 est.).
Origin
Wong is an ancient surname which origin could be traced back more than 4,200 years to the days of the legendary sage emperors preceeding the Xia dynasty. During the reign of Emperor Shun (帝舜), Hui Lian (惠連), the son of Lu Zhong (陸終), a descendant of the Yellow Emperor, Huang Di (黄帝), scored a merit in harnessing river floods, and Emperor Shun conferred on Hui Lian the state of Can'hu (参胡) (in present-day region of Fenyang (汾陽), Shanxi province (山西省), China). It was the year 2220 BC. Emperor Shun renamed Can'hu "the State of Huang" (黄國), and bestowed on Hui Lian the surname "Huang" (黄) and the name "Yun" (雲). Hence, Hui Lian was also known as Huang Yun (黄雲). Hui Lian became the Progenitor of the Huang Surname Clan. The descendants of Huang Yun (Hui Lian) ruled the Huang State of Shanxi until the early "Spring and Autumn Period" (春秋時代) (722 BC-481 BC) when it was conquered by the State of Jin (晋國).
Development and Emigration
In 891 BC, King Xiao of Zhou (Zhou Xiao Wang — 周孝王) conferred on the 53rd generation descendant of Hui Lian, Huang Xi (黄熙) (aka Huang Shi — 黄石) the nobility of "Hou" (Duke — 侯) and a dukedom in the region east of the Han river (漢水) (in present-day region of Yicheng (宜城), Hubei (湖北 province) called "Huang" (黄) (Not to be confused with the Huang State of Fenyang, Shanxi) with the four states Jiang (江), Huang (黄) (founded by Bo Yi's (伯益) descendants), Dao (道), and Bo (柏) in the Huang river (潢水) valley as vassals. The Huang State of Yicheng, Hubei was known as the "Western Huang" (Xi Huang — 西黄) in history.
In 845 BC, Duke Wen (文侯) Huang Meng (黄孟) (aka Huang Zhang — 黄璋) moved the capital of the State of Huang from Yicheng to Huangchuan (潢川) (present-day Huangchuan — 潢川, Henan — 河南省) and founded a new Huang State. Huang Xi's descendants ruled State of Huang until 648 BC when it was destroyed by the State of Chu (楚國). The Duke of Huang, Duke Mu (穆侯) Huang Qisheng (黄企生), who narrowly escaped, fled to the State of Qi (齊國) (in present-day Linzi, Shandong province 山東省). The people of Huang were forced to relocate to Chu, to the region of present-day Hubei province, known as the Jiangxia Prefecture (江夏郡) during the Han dynasty (漢朝) (206 BC-AD 220). There are many places in this region today that were named after Huang e.g Huanggang (黄岡), Huangpi (黄陂), Huangmei (黄梅), Huangshi (黄石) etc. A large number of the people of Huang were also relocated to regions south of the Changjiang/Yangtze River (長江). Among them were descendants of the aristocratic family of Huang, who later assimilated with the local indigenous tribes and their descendants became the Huangs of the non-Han ethnic minorities living in south China today.
After three centuries in decline, the Huang family resurged when Huang Xie (黄歇), a descendant of the aristocratic family of the vanquished Huang State was made the Prime Minister of the State of Chu. Huang Xie was conferred "Lord of Chunshen" (春申君) (314 BC-238 BC). During the Han dynasty, Huang Ba (黄霸) (130 BC- 51 BC) also became the prime minister. The Huang clan reached the zenith of fame and power during the Han dynasty.
From Jiangxia, the Huang Clan later spread to other parts of China and later on to other parts of the world. Hence Jiangxia is regarded as the Cradle of the Huang Clan and the name "Jiangxia" was adopted as the clan's "Hall name" (堂號). Today, the Huang surname Clan is known as the "Huang Clan of Jiangxia". The name "Jiangxia" has become a synonym of Huang Surname Clan.
During the Jin dynasty (晋朝) (AD 265-AD 420), when northern China was invaded by the barbarian tribes, many northerners (especially the aristocratic clans) moved to south China with the Jin court. It was during this period that the Huang2 Clanmen migrated to Fujian (福建省).
According to Min Shu (閩書) (Book of Min) (Quoted from Chung Yoon-Ngan):
"During the second year (of the reign) of Yong Jia (308AD) the Central Plain was in chaos and the eight (aristocratic) Clans:- Lin (林), Huang (黄), Chen (陳), Zheng (鄭), Zhan (詹), Qiu (邱), He (何), and Hu (胡), entered Min (閩) (present day Fujian province, China)."
From the Tang dynasty (AD 618-AD 907) onwards, Huang Clansmen migrated from Fujian to Guangdong (廣東省) and to the other southern provinces. Huang Clan grew into a big Clan in south China and became the 3rd biggest surname clan in south China today. (Related Article: How The Han Chinese Became The World's Biggest Tribe)
Migration to Taiwan (台灣) began during the transition period from the Ming (明) dynasty (1368-1644) to Qing (清) dynasty (1644-1912), when many Huang2 Clansmen followed the Anti-Manchu Ming loyalist forces under Zheng Chenggong (鄭成功), crossed the Taiwan straits to Taiwan island.
Huang migration overseas began as early as the 14th century during the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) to destinations in Southeast Asia. Migration to Americas began only in the mid-19th century following the forced opening of China's ports to the West. Huang is the largest Chinese surname clan in Americas today. The population of overseas Huang Clansmen was estimated at 2 million in 2000.

First Vacation 2009 : Redang Island
Sunshine, white sand and crystal clear sea water. It was all fun. As I told in the earlier post, I will be staying at Redang Holiday Resort for 3 days 2 nights. The accommodation and food were good and the people were friendly. I went snorkeling and enjoyed swimming with the fish and fed them with bread. The fish and coral were beautiful. I also enjoyed walking by the seaside along the beach and play in the water. But the strong sun nearly burn my skin even I'd put on SPF50 sun protection. Now I'm dark and need whitening treatment. I've took loads of pics and some funny videos which I will upload to my Facebook.

Gym Relocation
California Fitness (CF) MSC club will relocate at Lot 10 and it will close for 2 weeks. So during this period of time I either go to the CF Mid Valley club or Equilibrium Fitness(EF). It's been a while I didn't go to EF. I joined EF since end of 2007 till now. EF is actually by Maju Gymnasium Sdn. Bhd. and it is under the Maju Group. So I as a staff of MIE, also under Maju Group, was entitled to use the gym with minimum charges that will be deducted automatically from my salary every month.

Happy Ox Year
Just back to KL last night after a few days holiday and CNY celebration in Ipoh. Nothing much you can do in Ipoh but just hang out with some friends. From Saturday to Monday night, I hang out with a bunch of friends at Friends Cafe. On the day one of CNY, loads of relatives came to my house and I got some angpau. The day was really busy and noisy. The second day I just stayed at home and sent my mom to bus station at night. The night was disastrous, I was caught in an accident. My car hit by a stupid old car from behind. That driver really stupid and idiot and I hate him!!! How could he not pay me anything and just left the place. Then I went to Police Station (Traffic) to report. I hope that idiot get summon for at least RM300.
Wednesday was abit busy for me. In the morning, I have to finish up some documents and print at a cyber cafe. Then I rushed to KWSP building to submit the documents and make payment. Next I stopped at MBI to make payment. It was terrible when I have to wait for about 172 numbers, my number is 1862 and the current was 1690. It took 2 hours of waiting. After that I had a quick lunch with Nigel before heading to the police station again to make payment for my report. And finally went home to collect my luggage and back to KL.
The journey to KL was suffering. The highway was really jam and I'm really sick of it.

Planning for CNY 2009
CNY 2009 is just around the corner. This year is the Ox year. I can't comment much about the year as I will study the chinese horoscope soon. I will find out the luck for Tiger-born people. So this CNY will be same as usual without any special planning, celebration at hometown where relatives will visit us and I will have some night-outs with friends. I've bought some new clothes, a line of new fashion which will be very attractive (am I too over confident?? hmmm...) My journey has been planned, KL-Ipoh on Friday (23 Jan) night and Ipoh-KL on Wednesday (28 Jan) noon. Just a few days break but I think it's enough. And I will resume to work on Friday (30 Jan). Hope it's a good day to start work.

Party Week
This week had been busy and having lots of fun but very tiring. Thursday night I went to karaoke with some friends at Neway Times Square (photos available in my facebook). Friday night I got drunk after drinking too much in LaBear and Palace. And Saturday night I went clubbing at Marketplace with a bunch of friends. We got high and rocked on the dancefloor. And today, Sunday will be relaxing. I woke up around 11am and planning for a movie at GSC Pavilion. I will be watching Sammi's new movie "Lady Cop & Papa Crook". So that's for my day. :)

Car Crashed
Don't misunderstood. It's not my car crashed. It's my friend's car crashed. It was midnight and happened at Besraya Highway, near exit to Salak South. The car was crashed into the drain. The night was raining heavily and the road was dark. After settled on the towing matter, we rushed to the police station to put on a report. It was all done and we went home around 3.30am.
